Regional Coordinator
West, Michigan area ONLY
The Regional Coordinator is responsible for all program-related initiatives, volunteer recruitment, family outreach, community engagement, marketing and fundraising.
- Part-time at 20 hours per week
- Flexible/open schedule
- Horse experience is not required
- Ability to travel local
Communications and Marketing Intern
Southeast, Michigan area ONLY
The Communications and Marketing Intern will gain an understanding of Camp Casey’s organizational structure, represent organization at community outreach initiatives, assist with planning fundraising and community events, and manage general administrative tasks.
- Part-time at 20 hours per week
- Flexible/open schedule
- Ability to travel local
- Horse experience is not required
Equine Therapist
The Equine Therapists lead and oversee all equine activities of Camp Casey’s Horsey House Calls.
- Seasonal, part-time, paid per Horsey House Call
- Equine Therapists typically work 20-40/hrs. a season
- Extensive horse experience required
- 40-hour training through Camp Casey required
- Must be certified through PATH International (Grand Rapids only)
Ranch Hand
- Seasonal, part-time, paid per Horsey House Call
- Ranch Hands typically work 20-40/hrs. a season
- Moderate horse experience required
Activity Leader
- Seasonal, part-time
- Paid per Horsey House Call (Grand Rapids only)
- Activity Leaders typically work 10-20/hrs. a season
- No horse experience required
- Excellent for teachers on summer vacation
Hero Herd Horse
- Load/unload into Camp Casey’s trailer with ease
- Are calm and at ease in new/strange environments
- Have weekend availability
- Tolerate a therapeutic riding surcingle (TRS)
- Stand still well
