How Much Does it Cost to Participate in Camp Casey’s Programs?
Nothing! Thanks to generous local sponsors and fund raising efforts, Camp Casey is able to provide all of its horseback riding programs cost-free to families facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis.
About Pediatric Cancer
Childhood cancers are the #1 disease killer of children – more than asthma, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, and pediatric AIDS combined.
Children whose brother or sister is diagnosed with cancer can react with a wide range of emotions including jealousy, anger, frustration, guilt, sadness, depression and loneliness.
Cancer creates an instant crisis in the lives of the family. Normal life stops. Parents must be away from work so they can be with their child.
Our programs offer a much-needed break from cancer to children and their families.
